Sports Boston

Because the Red Sox are playing at home on Friday, our Fenway Park tour has been cancelled. Informal groups are meeting in the hotel lobby at 6:00, leaving at 6:30 sharp, to go watch the game at The Baseball Tavern, (1270 Boylston St. 617-867-6526), a sports bar near the Fenway Park. It's about a mile and a half walk. You can come and go as you like, but the place could be very busy after 8:30. Directions: Google Map, Yahoo Map (Those links give you a little run around because it is for driving. You can just go down the Boylston street all the way. You can also take the T to "Hynes Convention Center/ICA" or "Kenmore")

Arts Boston

Tour the stunning, new Institute of Contemporary Art with Boston Globe arts editor Scott Heller. This event is sold out.

Friday night at SND has always meant “dinner on your own.” While Boston’s a great town to explore by yourself, we’re also set up adventures that provide an exciting opportunity to explore Boston in a medium-sized group organized around a theme.
